History: The Uchiha clan (Uchiha Ichizoku) is one of the four most prominent clans of Hi no Kuni, and is also reputed to be Hi no Kuni's most powerful clan, producing shinobi that are exceptionally talented and battle-oriented.

The Uchiha clan descended from the elder of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths. The elder brother inherited the Sage's "eyes", powerful chakra and spiritual energies. When it came time for the Sage to choose a successor, he questioned the two on what course of action they would follow to bring order to the world. The elder believed that power was the way to bring peace, while the younger believed love was the way. The Sage favored the ideal of the younger brother, and therefore designated the younger as his successor, causing the elder to be filled with jealousy and hate.

From the younger son descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha. However, the Uchiha suffered another more dangerous curse: a passionate love that can become a bottomless well of despair the moment the one they care for most is dead.

The Uchiha are among one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan as well as battle prowess, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the strongest clans in the ninja world, another equally prominent being the Senju clan, making them bitter rivals. Whenever the Uchiha clan are hired for a job, the opposing side tends to hire the Senju, and vice-versa.

One Tomoe: The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan itself gives colour to chakra, allowing the wielder to differentiate them. They are also able to tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.

Two Tomoe: The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. It gives them minor precognitive abilities as well, though not as strong as three tomoe.

Three Tomoe: The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to copy almost any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near-perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own, or even modify them to create their own new techniques. In order to reproduce a copied technique, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce techniques dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with. The Uchiha's clarity of perception ability (two tomoe) extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user, allowing them to see the image of an attacker's next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body and counter-attack or dodge without any wasted movement. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not always have time to react.

Mangekyō Sharingan

Amaterasu: Amaterasu is the highest level Fire Release technique, and is noted to be an Uchiha's strongest ninjutsu which stems from his/her dōjutsu. It is said to represent the "Material World and Light" (Busshitsukai to Hikari), the antipode to Tsukuyomi — a genjutsu of similar power and a fellow Mangekyō Sharingan dōjutsu. Use of the technique puts a great deal of strain on the user, usually causing his eyes to bleed.

The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be "the fires from hell" that are as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision. The flames are capable of burning through mostly anything in their path, even smothering regular fire techniques with ease. Amaterasu is said to never stop burning; even when whatever is caught by the Amaterasu is completely reduced to ash or destroyed, it can still continue burning for seven days and seven nights. It cannot be extinguished with water or any other normal methods.

However, the flames burn fairly slowly, sometimes allowing anyone struck by Amaterasu an opportunity to remove whatever clothing or body parts have been caught ablaze.

Tsukuyomi: Tsukuyomi is noted to be one of the most powerful genjutsu in existence. It is unique to the Uchiha clan and only those who have awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan can perform it. It is said to represent the "Spiritual World and Darkness" (Seishinkai to Yami), the antipode to Amaterasu — a ninjutsu of similar power.

Tsukuyomi requires eye contact to be performed, trapping the target within an illusion completely under the user's control. A highly advanced Uchiha's prowess with the technique could potentially allow him to alter the perception of time with ease within the genjutsu to make a few seconds seem like many days as a means to torture the target. This results in the victim suffering psychological trauma that incapacitates them for a considerable period of time.

Such a powerful technique is not without its disadvantages however. Due to the complexity of the illusion and the quickness with which it is executed, an enormous amount of chakra is necessary and an added amount of stress is placed on the left eye, leaving an Uchiha's vision more blurred.

Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

Susanoo, also known as the Tempestuous God of Valour (Yūbu no Aragami), is the third ability granted by the Mangekyō Sharingan to those who awaken the abilities Tsukuyomi — which symbolises the "darkness of the spiritual world" and Amaterasu — which denotes the "light of the material world". It creates a gigantic, humanoid being that surrounds the user. As one of the strongest techniques granted to those that have acquired the Mangekyō Sharingan, it is the user's guardian deity, but at the same time, it consumes the user's life.

Drawback(s): Use of the Sharingan is limited to twelve posts with a twelve post cooldown. Your character cannot simply awaken three tomoes or his/her Mangekyō Sharingan, he/she must've undergone a tragic event (typically a loss) in-character in order to awaken his third stage and yet again to awaken his Mangekyō. You can awaken your second tomoe in a thread of your own in using non-player characters. Otherwise it MUST involve other player characters or a REAL loss/tragedy that's occurred for you in-character. Kekkei Genkai and Hiden jutsu cannot be copied with the Sharingan. All jutsu copied must have been witnessed by the character in-character and even then, it allows you to train/learn that jutsu, not simply use it instantaneously during a thread (unless you've already trained/learned it). Use of the Mangekyō Sharingan is limited to five times. After the third time, your vision is blurred. Fifth time, your character is completely blinded and can no longer use his Mangekyō Sharingan and loses out on being able to earn an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. In order to receive an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, your character is required to kill another character who possess the Mangekyō Sharingan. You cannot use Susano'o until the Uchiha has awakened his/her Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

As an Uchiha clansman, you are required to have the Fire chakra nature from the start.

Description: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire and expelled from the mouth either as a massive orb of roaring flame or as a continuous flame-thrower. The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface. This technique apparently requires more than average chakra reserves and most genin should not be able to do this technique.

Description: The user decrypts a genjutsu that has been applied onto them and casts back a technique with identical effects onto the opponent. It's a form of illusion reversal, but in order to instantly read through a technique and cast it in return, the Sharingan's power is necessary. As genjutsu is initially used to confuse the enemy, this technique, which sends it right back to its caster, deals a high amount of mental damage, more than anything else.
Drawback/Duration/Cooldown: Can't be used against a genjutsu that's a rank above the Uchiha in question. Cooldown of three posts.

The technique can also be used in conjunction with Susanoo, and its weaponry. While Amaterasu is cast from an Uchiha's left eye, he/she uses his/her right eye to manipulate the flames.
Drawback/Duration/Cooldown: This use of Amaterasu requires the Uchiha to have Fire release. Applies to the Uchiha's use of Amaterasu, which counts as one of the five times they can use it.

Description: The Uchiha uses his chakra to take on the shape of an ethereal guardian that's unique to him/her. It varies in color and general appearance for each Uchiha. Normally the Susano'o shields the user and wields an ethereal weapon or two made up of Amaterasu flames, of which it can create Yasaka Magatama. Though it is possible for the Susano'o to manifest the Yata mirror and Sword of Totsuka, it is very rare.
Drawback/Duration/Cooldown: Susano'o lasts for twelve of the user's posts, with a twelve post cooldown. The chances of manifesting the Yata Mirror and Sword of Totsuka is highly unlikely and would require the Staff's consent. Despite Susanoo's impressive defensive capabilities, the protection it grants its user is not absolute. The user can be thrown out of the upper half of Susanoo by an enemy manipulating the substance underneath Susanoo. Also, a sufficiently powerful attack will still result in damage, especially during the technique's developmental stages after which the user is left open for attack. The only known ways to attack the user while Susanoo is active is either to draw the wielder out of the technique and then attack, bind and restrict its movements, or to break the defense with overwhelming force. Susanoo users are also vulnerable to attacks which don't actually deal physical damage to it, such as strong lights and sounds, that can also impair their ability to sustain Susanoo. The users are also still susceptible to such things as sound-based genjutsu. The first three times Susano'o is used, it can only be a partial Susano'o. The following three times can only be Incomplete Susano'o and after that, Complete Susano'o.
